SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Arriving home from the Venus Fair in Berlin Germany Homegrown Video’s CEO Moffitt T. had one souvenir in his bag that was totally unexpected but well worth the trip – the Venus Award for Best Amateur Label. According to Moffitt, “We are very honored by the selection of Homegrown Video for the Venus Award for Best Amateur Label.”
On stage to give thanks, Moffitt showed appreciation for Homegrown’s European distributors, saying, “It is a testament to the great job being done by Tobias Bauer and his team at Pure Play Europe. Tobias and Richard Arnold, head of Pure Play Media, have a great command of the European markets and Homegrown is lucky to be involved with them.”
“The Venus show was a huge success for us, and I look forward to a great year in 2008,” Moffitt said.
This year has been a milestone for Homegrown, with the company signing over distribution to Pure Play in order to focus on production. Founded in 1983, Homegrown has released over 700 volumes in its signature amateur video line. According to Newsweek Magazine, Homegrown Video is “the longest running series in the history of porn”.
