Ñ Acclaimed director Tina Tyler demonstrates that being a newbie to the X-rated business doesn’t equate to being sexually inexperienced with the release of the 10th volume of Mercenary Pictures’ new girl series, “Fresh Out the Box.”Starring Leona Dulce, Aryana Starr, Valerie Luxe, Nicole Banks and Chantell Merino, “Fresh Out the Box 10″ is available on store shelves now. The title also stars Jon Jon, Mr. Marcus, Marco Banderas, Brian Pumper and Mercenary Pictures owner and international award winning performer Lexington Steele.
“Some performers enter the business not knowing what they like when it comes to sex,” Tyler, who also directs Mercenary Pictures’ premier ethnic new girl line “Black Moon Risin’,” said. “Usually that means they’ve just started discovering themselves. However, there are other performers who enter the industry and they do know what they like Ñ these are the ladies we’re looking for when we cast ‘Fresh Out the Box.’ They’re new, but they bring passion and heat to a scene.”
But being in front of the camera for the first time is another matter and while the ladies may know their way around a bed, Steele said, Tyler helps them get comfortable while the camera is rolling. The ability to put new performers at ease makes for better performances, as demonstrated in “Black Moon Risin’ 6,” also directed by Tyler and winner of the Urban Spice Awards’ Best Pro-Am Release.
“For someone new, a set can be an intimidating environment,” he added. “Sure, they like sex, they have fun with it, but what we do on camera is different than what they’re used to doing at home. It doesn’t mean you can’t have fun, but it does mean the director shooting the scene needs to be able to work with someone new. Tina’s excellent with making new talent feel at ease and it’s something that’s important to the ‘Fresh Out the Box’ line.”
