Honolulu, Hawaii – Webmaster conventions have gone nautical. Axis-Adult.com announces plans for the first ever webmaster convention taking place on a cruise ship. The OceanSocial, as it will be called, is set to sail from Port Canaveral, Florida on October 13 and return on October 17, 2008.
The event will take place on Royal Caribbean’s Sovereign of the Seas, and will make stops in Cocoa Cay and Nassau, Bahamas, before spending a day at sea and eventually returning back to port.
In an interview, event organizer Shoehorn! of Axis-Adult.com had the following to say, “I am really hoping for a great turnout for this event, but even if only a dozen webmasters decide to attend it should still be a great opportunity for networking and relaxing. I mean, what could be better than discussing business while sitting by a pool on a ship floating towards the Bahamas?”
There are several sponsorship opportunities, and some sponsors get a free Owner’s Suite just for sponsoring the event. More details, as well as sponsorship details and registration can be found at OceanSocial.com.
